Any time another author enjoys my writing and lets me know, I feel a special thrill. This week, Janet Riehl, a fellow member of Women Writing The West and a poet whose work I've admired did that. She let me know she'd included comments on my first two novels, Preserving Cleo and Cleo's Slow Dance on her blog, http://www.riehlife.com. Both were set on an Oregon family farm. She also linked to my book detail pages on Amazon. Of course, I rushed to read what she had to say. Not only did her interest give me pleasure but caused me to have new questions about the conflict in my story. I may need to look deeper into my own innermost desires.
