Writers Faire--Willamette Writers Conference

Open to the public, The Writers Faire, is Thursday evening Aug. 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Airport Shereton in Portland, Oregon. Many favorite Northwest Authors, including myself, will be available to show, sell and sign books.

This is the kick off event for the Willamette Writers Conference. I received my update this morning. It's exciting for me although I'm not looking for an agent or publisher. Some of the best teachers in our area will be offering workshops. I have several earmarked to help me build skill in my craft. I'm eager for the stimulation of new ideas and shared experiences with other writers. I am especially interested in those workshops designed to help an author use internet technology more effectively.
